AuSAE NZ Leadership Symposium Event Wrap Up (21 - 22 October 2015)
It was great to be in Wellington (one of my favorite places!) for AuSAE’s Leadership Symposium.
Under the theme “Building Sustainable Futures”, the 2 day event brought together over 100 NZ delegates (and a few Aussies!) to network, share ideas and to hear from and meet those at the forefront of the NFP profession.
The program offered important keynote addresses and interesting sessions on a wide range of topics from building sustainable futures, creating new revenue streams, managing change to new views on more traditional topics such as member engagement, managing boards and running events on small budgets.
Technology remains an ever important subject in NZ as it is in Aus with many delegates I spoke to looking at improving their web presence through improved member engagement tools and mobile sites. Many associations are now moving away from inhouse systems to Cloud platforms with access, speed and security high on the list of priorities.
Exciting times and look forward to next year!
